Ingredients
- 1cm thick sirloin or rump steak
- Salt and pepper
- Liquid Seasoning e.g. Maggi (optional but recommended)
- Oil (vegetable or sunflower)

Method
- Season the steaks well, and splash a few drops of Liquid Seasoning on each side
- Tenderise the steaks by hitting with the blunt side of a kitchen knife to create score marks every half a cm or so across both sides of the meat
- Coat meat lightly in oil on both sides

- Heat dry pan to 225C on high heat
- Add steak
- Cook for 2 minutes keeping pan between 200 and 240C
- Turn steak
- Cook for 2 minutes keeping pan between 200 and 240C
- Food is ready
